On my way down to the 2007 North American International Auto Show at the Cobo Center in Detroit, my cab driver Greg was singing these lyrics from the Mama's an the Papa's tune California Dreaming:

Pretty appropriate words for a January day in Detroit.
But I wasn't going to let the gray malaise get me down because I knew I had just scooped EVERY media outlet in the world with this early look at what's going on on the show floor, at the 2007 Detroit Auto Show.
