Ferrari is taking noise insulation to a new level with its patented anti-fart technology. CarBuzz discovered the patent application filed with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
Obviously, a prestigious brand like Ferrari won't call it the Anti Cutting The Cheese Intervention or Autonomous Toot Intervention, but we see right through this patent for so-called "Active Road Noise Cancellation." Active noise cancellation is not a new technology, but Ferrari is taking it to a new level by incorporating listening devices and loudspeakers into the seats.
According to the patent, it was designed specifically for a vehicle with a front-mounted engine and a passenger compartment with two or more seats. There's only one model that fits the latter part of that description, and it's the V12-powered Ferrari Purosangue.
