At the 2023 Japan Mobility Show, Lexus unveiled the LF-ZC concept as a showcase for what its medium-term EV plans are for the future, but it also introduced the LF-ZL as a preview of what lies even further ahead.
The LF-ZL (Lexus Future Zero-emission Luxury) represents a future flagship luxury model that will likely replace the brilliant but rapidly aging Lexus LS, or perhaps live alongside it should the sedan body style still be in demand from the wealthy elite. At nearly 209 inches long and 79.5 wide, it's longer and wider than the Lexus LX, yet only has two rows of seating within its 132-inch wheelbase. That points to its purpose as an ultra-luxury crossover where passenger comfort supersedes all else.
