In the latest motortrend test, the Audi R8 defeated the Porsche 911 Carrera 4. The reasons for the R8's triumph were due to its sleeker styling, easier to live with ride quality and its more controlled nature versus the flinging Porsche.
The Porsche may have had the better steering and transmission, but it was the R8's looks, better ride quality and more civilized nature along with faster acceleration that secured its win.
