Due in 2026 for the 2027 model year, the yet-unnamed luxury sport utility vehicle appears to be similar in footprint to its Porsche twin.
If confirmed, this detail would be hardly surprising due to the Volkswagen Group's industry-leading synergies. According to chief executive officer Frank-Steffen Walliser, who happens to be a Porsche veteran, the Bentayga's zero-emission alternative is designed with long-range driving in mind. Given that its wheelbase is longer than Porsche's Macan Electric, we can imagine a larger battery and over 300 miles of range in the EPA cycle.
