Do you remember when Mercedes was in the premium grand tourer game with models such as the CL-Class and the two-door versions of the older S-Class? You probably do, as it hasn't been long since the three-pointed star brand pulled the plug on them, and between us, both have aged like fine wine, and they're dream rides on one condition: if they don't feature any crazy aftermarket bits and bobs.
 
That cannot be said about the example pictured above, which came from West Coast Customs. It is a Mercedes-AMG S 63 Coupe, or a Mercedes-Benz S 63 AMG Coupe if we are talking about the older iteration, as the Affalterbach brand hadn't been fully absorbed into the three-pointed star company back then. And all you have to do to realize that it is a bit too much from a visual perspective is to look at the exterior, which does not do justice to this otherwise elegant machine that still deserves a place under the spotlight.
