Tesla will soon start selling the long-wheelbase Model Y L in China, offering both six- and seven-seat configurations. The Tesla Model Y L will also be sold in Europe, as confirmed by a prototype spotted at a charging station near Nurburgring. Tesla is expected to start Model Y L sales in China in September, with European markets following shortly.
 
Tesla is betting on the success of its most popular car, the Model Y. The Model Y lineup will soon be expanded with a cheap variant at the bottom and a long-wheelbase variant at the top. The latter has already been unveiled in China, where production has already begun. The sales are rumored to start in September with cars produced at Giga Shanghai, although Tesla might also make the Model Y L in Germany. Certainly, it will be sold in Europe, as revealed by a prototype tested on the Nurburgring.
