Polestar will step up its fight with Tesla, Audi and BMW in the coming years with the launch of the new Polestar 7. The premium compact electric SUV will firmly target the Tesla Model Y, Audi Q4 e-tron and BMW iX3 when it’s launched in 2028, and our exclusive images preview how it could look.
The Polestar 7 will be built in Volvo’s new plant in Slovakia, which is currently under construction, and will be based on the brand’s next-generation electric car platform. The new platform includes new e-motors developed in-house and ‘cell-to-body’ construction where the battery pack forms part of the car’s structure.
