While we were waiting for the next-generation Alfa Romeo Giulia and Stelvio to make their long-anticipated debut anytime now, Stellantis decided to change course, extending production of the current models until the end of 2027 and delaying the arrival of their successors.
 
And that’s only half the story. Alongside the regular variants, the brand plans to revive the discontinued Quadrifoglio models and has also decided it won’t venture into larger segments, a move that’s hardly shocking, considering every Alfa CEO for the past two decades has promised a flagship sedan and SUV without ever delivering one.
