Stellantis issued a recall for nearly 25,000 Jeep Wrangler 4xe plug-in hybrids after a software update left drivers stranded with bricked vehicles.
 
Jeep’s parent company, Stellantis, announced the recall in a letter sent to the National Highway Traffic Administration (NHTSA) this week.
 
The Jeep Wrangler 4xe has been America’s best-selling PHEV for the past three years and is on track for a fourth.
