Just last month, we reported on GM's plans to drop Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, forcing drivers to rely on the car's native operating system. The phase-out started with electric vehicles, and is now continuing with combustion models, pulling the feature from upcoming trucks and SUVs like the Chevrolet Suburban, and the GMC Sierra 1500.
As it turns out, drivers aren't happy with that decision, and some drivers are even less happy with it than others. Our friends at American Trucks recently conducted a survey of more than 1,000 drivers to take the temperature on this matter, and found that many drivers would rather switch car brands entirely rather than lose their favorite feature.
