Subaru has bad news in store for WRX enthusiasts. According to the Japanese automaker's Japanese website, the order books for the all-wheel-drive sedan will close no later than May 18, 2026.

The fine print reads that high demand may result in the order books closing before May 18, 2026. Adding insult to injury, the Levorg and Levorg-derived Layback are going the way of the dodo as well.

Subaru will stop taking orders for the JDM-spec Levorg and Layback on April 13, 2026. Also known as the WRX Sportswagon in Australia and the WRX GT in New Zealand, the Levorg is based on the highly modular platform of the VB-generation WRX.
