It may be the i3 that is the talk of town when it comes to modern-day Bimmers, but let’s not forget that the company’s entire lineup is going down the Neue Klasse route. That also includes the X1, which was recently spied undergoing testing in the cold on the right side of the Atlantic Ocean.
There is no mistaking the outgoing iteration with the upcoming one, because the styling changes will be quite radical, especially for a mid-cycle refresh. The new one seems to have a front fascia similar to the ones of the new i3 and iX3, with a tiny kidney grille neatly integrated with the new lighting units. The central section of the front bumper has a large air intake, and the hood, and front fenders were updated to fit the revised styling.
