Getting involved in a competition as demanding as the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) is not for everybody. Not only does a carmaker have to be able to build a car capable of going against the incredible machines usually fielded in this series, but they also have to make sure they can sustain the effort. That’s why, for a newcomer, setting a goal as simple as finishing races in the first season is not that laughable.
 
The 2026 WEC was supposed to open on the weekend of March 26, but because of the Iran conflict, the race was postponed. The next round is scheduled for April 19 in Italy, and it is probably there that the South Koreans from Genesis will mark their entry into one of the most demanding racing series in the world.
