The first Mercedes of the modern era with starry headlights and taillights isn't merely a multi-energy technological showcase. Its maker put a lot of effort into developing its available powertrains, be they fully electric or internal combustion with a dash of hybrid muscle. In the full-electric model's case, our friends at Edmunds have recently squeezed out a massive 385 miles on a full charge.
   
Let that number sink in for a minute, then consider that Mercedes claims an EPA-rated 312 miles for the CLA 350 4MATIC with EQ Technology. In other words, a 23.2 percent difference over the Environmental Protection Agency's estimate in real-world testing conditions. In metric speak, those 385 and 312 miles of range convert to 620 and 502 kilometers, respectively.
