At just past 2 a.m. on May 11, CCTV footage captured an alleged abduction near a subdivision in Banilad, Cebu City.
The camera caught a white SUV parked in the lot with two men talking outside, one of them heavily built and wearing a cap, scrolling on his phone, when a gray car crept toward them from the direction of a guardhouse – and a white van rolled in behind it.
Between five and eight men stepped out and forced both individuals into the van. The footage sat unnoticed for nearly two weeks. Then it hit social media.
