Ford Motor Co. is targeting 8 percent profit margins by 2029.
Andrew Frick, who leads two of the automaker’s three major business units, will play a key role in reaching that goal.
Frick, the president of Ford Blue and Model e, wants to continue building sales of the Bronco, Mustang and Explorer after the automaker discontinued the less profitable Edge and Escape crossovers. He’s also managing inventory of the crown jewel F-150 pickup as Ford works to move past the disruption caused by a September fire at Novelis, a key aluminum supplier.
