The most powerful series-production road car from Aston Martin is facing a safety recall for brake master cylinder seals that may deform under certain driving conditions. In this event, any sort of excessive brake pressure can overheat the brakes.

When the seal fails, the brake fluid for the applicable diagonal circuit will not be released back into the reservoir once the brake pedal is released. When brake pressure reaches the saturation point, Aston Martin claims that the brakes can drag, therefore leading to an increase in brake temperature in the diagonal brake circuit.
