Toyota Motor North America has recently begun production of the redesigned sixth-gen RAV4 Hybrid at the Kentucky manufacturing complex, marking an important step in the Japanese automaker's effort to increase supply of one of America's most in-demand vehicles. Last year, a whopping 181,433 units were sold in the United States alone.
Although sales have nosedived by 24.4 percent in the first quarter of 2026, remember that generational switchovers always pose challenges. While Toyota continues to ramp up RAV4 Hybrid production, initial availability issues left some dealers with limited inventory.
