HEMI diehards have been waiting for the beloved engine to return since Stellantis killed it back in 2023, along with the Charger and Challenger that it powered. Despite the rumors, speculations, and promises, it still isn’t happening. At least not yet, anyway. Dodge, however, is planning to roll out a more potent variant of the Charger.
Stellantis is going to expand the Charger lineup, with a new variant that will sit at the top of the lineup powerd by the Hurricane twin-turbocharged inline-six, but it will by no means take the lead of the entire lineup. That position is held by the Charger Daytona SCAT PACK.
