The next-generation Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing has officially been greenlit. While Cadillac previously confirmed that the CT5 lineup will return with internal combustion engines, this is the first confirmation that the fire-breathing Blackwing will live on to see another day.
   
The first-generation CT5-V Blackwing is inching closer to stepping off the stage after it has been on the market since 2021. The super sedan is scheduled to go out of production, alongside the entire CT5 lineup, at the end of 2026, but it won't be the end of the model.
