The G-Class Cabriolet is making a comeback in the shape of a G 63, after it was discontinued in 2014. That’s no news. The news is that Mercedes-Benz is showing more and more of its drop-top in teaser photos and videos.
The truth is that, once you have seen the roof, you have pretty much seen it all, because the Mercedes-AMG G 63 Cabriolet retains the typical G-Class design. The boxy silhouette, now with a folding roof, the spare tire at the back, the turn indicators right next to the hood, and the exterior door hinges have kept their ground. It is just the roof that makes it different from the standard G-wagen.
