It takes a pretty hardcore ride to dominate the Paul Giblin Memorial Climb to the Clouds, and this year it was Subaru Motorsport driver Scott Speed (yes, that's his real name, not his superhero name) putting in work behind the wheel of the so-called Subaru WRX: Project Midnight.
    
This highly modified 670-horsepower WRX finished with a time of 5:11.982 on the Mount Washington Auto Road, where Travis Pastrana set the previous overall benchmark of 5:28.67 in 2021 using the 862-horsepower Airslayer STI - albeit this 2026 run featured a fully paved course, ideally suited to this WRX's particular set of skills.
