Ford Motor Co., the second-largest U.S. automaker, is recalling Crown Victoria Police Interceptor sedans to fix wheels that may develop cracks leading to rapid air loss in the tires, Bloomberg News reported today.

The recall affects as many as 109,664 vehicles built between October 10, 2001 and December 8, 2004, in St. Thomas, Ontario, Ford said in a letter to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
