The Ford Fathom fold-down TV concept is the hot topic sparked by a patent request just filed by Ford Global Technologies, US Patent No. 12,741,514. The patent details an innovative double-decker front trunk design, the so-called "frunk," featuring a drop-down front panel that acts like a secondary front tailgate.
The patent sketches show a flat-screen TV mounted inside the front cargo area with a yet undisclosed capacity. The TV remains safely protected and folded away when the trunk is closed, but it lowers or folds down for easy viewing when the vehicle is parked.
