Why?
Here are a few reasons:
1. The original lessee is no longer liable after a lease transfer to another party (It’s about time!).
2. The owners circle website makes it easy to get payoff info and check your account (although the performance is usually slow, it’s better than waiting on hold).
3. The employees are generally knowledgeable and courteous
4. The leases can be transferred to most states
5. Their residuals are always way out of whack (in the consumers favor) so our lease prices stay low
Who came in second?
Chase automotive…for all the same reasons (except no web access yet and most phone employees there are mediocre at best)
And third place?
Mercedes-Benz Credit Corp.
Why?
1. The original owner is still liable after a successful lease transfer (Wake up and smell the coffee guys…the days of the dinosaur are over)
2. Their money factors are usually always too high compared to the competitors.
Fix those two issues and you’ll be tied for first place.
