On April 1st Club Lexus was reporting the possibility of a new RX-F following on the heels of the heralded IS-F. The report from inside sources also indicated the Lexus would extend the âFâ nameplate across the lineup including the GS and SC series.
The new RX-F would also incorporate All Wheel Drive and the possible addition of a DSG like transmission complete with paddle shifters, power would be supplied by a 5.0 liter direct injected V8
The added power gain is also supplemented by the addition of carbon fiber panels reducing curb weight of the RX-F by almost 600 lbs.
The New RX-F would compete directly with the ML-63 AMG and the BMW X5 .
