With reliability quickly becoming an non issue in the new car market, styling is moving to the forefront as a primary consideration in most automotive purchases.

A recent study conducted by Brand Watch & KBB has listed the brands that car buyers find have the most appealing styling in each segment.

Nissan came out on top with the most stylish non-luxury sedans in the market, edging out both Toyota and Honda. BMW took two of the top spots in the Luxury portion of the survey.

Jack P. Merad executive market director at KBB stated: “As vehicle reliability reaches near-parity in the market, we predict that exterior styling will play an even bigger role in building new-vehicle sales and brand equity.
