Next week will be an exciting one in New York as the NY auto show will debut quite a few new cars.

One we're especially excited to see is the next generation Land Rover Discovery.

So what's the hot news about that seeing that we've already shown spy photos in previos issues?

It will not be called the Discovery anymore.

Sources tell us the new name is the LR3 and there will be a choice of short (5 seat) and long wheelbase (7 seat) versions.
