The article talks about the ruling to increase mpg for suvs, and trucks and gets rid of the lowered amount for trucks and suvs, while also forcing an increased amount of use for ethanol. What seems odd to me, 1. how is that possible (maybe harder for some automakers, than others), and 2. why not try to find a way to lower gas prices, or assist automakers especially US automakers that have alot more light duty trucks with technology, or something. not just that but what about European companies that sell high performance cars solely, or a large amount like any luxury company, or exotic company. We really should conseve fossil fuels, but we will see this helps.....and on a side note as much as gas prices are is anyone else sick of seeing Chevy Tahoes, and Dodge Durangos as highway patrol cars I see alot, who needs a full size suv to pull someone over in, and burn that much gas flying up and down the road....
