The Spies had the extremely fortunate opportunity (Special thanks to Land Rover, official sponsor of our photo galleries), to attend the Concorso Italiano and Monterey Concours D'Elegance auto shows, last week in Northern California.
Talk about an impressive display of vehicles!
It was my first time and I'll tell you I was blown away!
I just couldn't believe how many cars there were. There had to be at least 500 Ferrari's just at the Concorso Italiano!
Take a look at the galleries and you'll see what we mean.
And the quality of the vehicles displayed at both shows was unequaled anywhere.
Which show was the best?
Although the setting of The Lodge at Pebble Beach can't be beat, if I could only go to one show in the future it would be the Concorso Italiano.
Why?
Three reasons:
1. They have WAY more cars on display
2. We prefer Ferrari's to Duesenberg's
3. It was a much friendlier atmosphere (The Elegance show had a little too much 'Thurston Howell the third' syndrome, if you get our gist)
So get a fine beverage and plan to spend an hour or two enjoying the view of some of the best cars you'll ever lay your eyes on.
