In the latest episode of Top Gear Richard Hammond pits a Bugatti Veyron against a Eurofighter Typhoon jet in a one mile race. The jet-fighter did have the advantage of being able to take off but the rules of the race was that both had to turn around and do another one mile run in the opposite direction.
