Before the X3 was even conceived (We're still asking why!) BMW had in internal project called 'Deep Blue' that was investigating a radical style crossover vehicle (with suicide doors) to compete in the FX marketplace.
The original concept was much cooler than what is on our website - as it was pre-bangle
Unfortunately, it got squashed and was replaced by the X3.
In the words of the Governator... 'Big Mistake'!
I hope they end up dumping the X3 and actually produce this...
