Audi's TT has long been regarded as a design icon both inside and out. The car took the world by storm when it was released with a striking exterior design and equally modern interior to match.

However, the car was always better to look at than it was to drive. This is the case with most Audis, but as we can see, times are clearly changing. The Audi R8 looks phenomenal and drives equally well. The Audi RS4 looks great and it was the first high-performance Audi in their RS lineup to really provide a fun driving experience.

Well we have good news for TT fans......the TT is about to get a lot faster and more driver oriented very soon.

We will see a 266 horsepower TT-S complete with quad exhausts, revised front grill and other exterior changes. This car will target the base Porsche Cayman as well as Nissan 350Z. 0-60 should be in the mid-5 second range.

But it gets even hotter.....Audi is going to release a 350 horsepower TT-RS that will be helped by the 40-60 rear biased Quattro system. This car will be able to run to 60 mph in less than 5 seconds. It's target will be the Porsche Cayman S, and BMW Z4M roadster and coupe.

The TDI will offer a diesel variant to the TT which will provide much better fuel economy.
