J.D. Power and Associates 2008 Automotive Performance, Execution and Layout (APEAL) study results were released June 26th, with overall "delight" with ownership decreasing due to fuel price concerns. Porsche for the second consecutive year earned top slot.
The APEAL study is designed to examine "owner delight with the design, content, layout and performance of their new vehicles... based on owner evaluations of 10 measures, encompassing more than 90 vehicle attributes," and is considered an indication of overall satisfaction with the ownership experience.
