Sweet to drive, sour to view is James Healy's opinion of the new 3-series.
Highlights from the review:
The two best things about the wholly remade 2006 BMW 3 Series sedan are the extra room inside, which the car has needed for years, and the additional engine power, which makes the base six-cylinder nearly as powerful as the old high-performance six-cylinder.
•Styling. Not as ugly as the similar look on the bigger 5, 6 and 7 Series BMWs, but way ugly nonetheless. It looks especially bad in white, better in silver and dark hues.
Sad, because the previous 3 was so very nice-looking.
