We caught the Suburban weeks ago, and now we have the very first pictures of the 2007 Cadillac Escalade.

Built on the new GMT900 platform, re-styled and re-engineered, here are the very first pictures of the upcoming Escalade! Even wrapped in camouflage, there is no question as to what this super-sized SUV is – especially with the huge Cadillac headlamps showing through the black masking.
General Motors is speeding up the introduction of all of their GMT900 vehicles – including the upcoming Tahoe, Yukon, Escalade and more – and we expect to see a major product introduction at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit next January, with many of the 2007 GMT900 SUVs on sale soon afterwards.
Besides sheetmetal and engineering changes, we hear that the Escalade will have improved road handling with its multi-link independent rear suspension system.

Auto Spies prediction: Our sources tell us the undisguised version looks like the Cadillac Sixteen concept in the front and the SRX from the rear.
Look for a power flat fold down third seat ala the Navigator, next gen night vision, virtual bumper system (like parktronic but works all around the car), and multiple trim packages including 'real granite' trim.
