2005 Ford Mustang/Freestyle
The NHTSA has recognized Ford Freestyle and Mustang as the top performer in their respective categories in NHTSA's 2005 NCAP rollover stability test. All of our vehicles are designed to meet stringent internal testing guidelines. This recognition by NHTSA confirms the high level of performance that Ford designs into all our vehicles.
Freestyle is offered with many safety features including available side air bags and safety canopy, dual-stage front air bags, load-limiting safety belt retractors and pretensioners, an adaptive steering column, an energy channeling frame structure and traction control. Mustang is offered with several safety features including available head and chest seat-mounted side air bags, four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes and traction control.
