Two totally new Mercedes/BMW competitors, in the planning stages
What cars will they compete with?
Spies tell us there are two new cars in the planning stages deep within Audi and VW headquarters that will compete directly with offerings from MB and BMW.
The first, is a large two door coupe at Audi, that is slated to go head to head against the CL-series...it could be called the A9
The second is from the VW guys. It will be a direct competitor to the E-class and 5-series and it will be slotted between the Passat and the Phaeton. The code name is supposedly the VW CI.
