It was announced lately by Scion, Toyota Motor Sales, USA, Inc., that the only limited-production tC for this year, the tC Release Series 5.0, will come with the TRD theme and will hit dealer showrooms next month.
The tC RS 5.0 can be seen in the Scion display area from February 11-22 at the Chicago Auto Show. It will come with gloss black body paint finish and a number of performance packs from TRD such as the 18-inch multi-spoke alloys finished in matte black with red trim and TRD lowering springs in red providing the car with an intimidating appearance. The tC RS 5.0 comes equipped with a red TRD rear sway bar for added stability when negotiating curbs. A TRD logo marks the exterior of the tC RS 5.0 and powerful and distinctive exhaust sound is provided by the TRD sport muffler.
