Aston Martin DBS VolanteAston Martin couldn’t keep it to itself and revealed today the 16th convertible in 95 years , its brand new DBS Volante a.k.a. Convertible. The new vehicle which is going to be revealed at this year’s Geneva Motor Show is features the same engine found on the coupe version: the 6.0-litre V12 engine (found also on the V12 Vantage) capable to deliver an impressive 510 hp and 530 Nm of torque offering a sprint to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 4.3 seconds while the top speed achieved, with the soft top on, is 307 km/h (191 mph). For those interested in buying this monster, Aston Martin is offering two gearbox choices: a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic which comes with stylish paddles. The Volante comes with 20 inch wheels wrapped in Pirelli P Zero high performance tires but also with carbon ceramic brakes as standard (398 mm diameter with six-piston calipers on the front and 360 mm diameter with four-piston calipers on the rear)providing exceptional stopping power. The vehicle can be equipped with three types of 20 inch wheels: 20-spoke alloy wheels with graphite finish, 10-spoke diamond-turned alloy wheels or 10-spoke diamond-turned alloy wheels with graphite finish.
