The 500th owner of a Tesla Roadster is a philanthropist from the state of New Jersey, USA, named Martin Tuchman. The philanthropist used to be the chairman and CEO of Interpool, is currently the chairman of The Tuchman Foundation and a member of the board of The Parkinson’s Alliance and Parkinson’s Disease Foundation of Columbia Presbyterian Hospital located in New York.

Tuchman intends to power his new Tesla Roadster partially with energy from the sun via photovoltaic panels which he helped install across Kingston, New Jersey, his birthplace. An ex-engineer and owner of a 1967 Mercedes 250 and a 1993 Jaguar convertible, found his dream come true with the new Tesla Roadster. Tuchman intends to utilize his Tesla Roadster as his chief vehicle of travel.
