It is reported that this coming August 2, Nissan will launch its new global headquarters in Yokohama where it will be introducing its new global electric car to the public for the first time.

The latest Nissan Electric Vehicle, dubbed as a medium five-door hatch with a dedicated body design, will first be shown as a prototype after which the production version will be set for a formal introduction this coming October at the Tokyo Motor Show. Nissan’s Oppama plant in Japan will handle the production of the car which will commence in the winter of next year, although Nissan added that their other global facilities could also receive the new Electric Vehicle.
