For those who don’t know, six years ago Mazda launched the RX-8 and it appears it’s time for a change an according to our sources, the Japanese manufacturer will launch a new generation this September at the Frankfurt Motor Show.

The updated generation promises a new interior featuring high-quality materials, a new three-spoke steering wheel with red decorative stitching, standard Recaro sport seats, Bluetooth and a state-of-the-art Bose audio system with nine speakers. Under the hood, the vehicle will feature the same Rotary engine capable to develop 23 hp and 211 Nm of torque, pushing the car to 100 km/h in just 6.4 seconds and offering a top speed of 234 km/h.
