The internet strikes again. The long-rumored revival of the Chevy Camaro got an early airing when these purloined pictures were leaked onto the Web. The photos, which appear to have been taken at General Motors' Michigan design center, show a muscular coupe obviously inspired by the 1967-69 Camaro. Note that the car is not quite in its final form--the left and right halves are slightly different, to show two styling proposals. If approved for production--and that's a big if--we'd expect the Camaro to ride on GM's new Zeta rear-wheel-drive platform being developed in Australia and to offer a choice of V-6 or small-block V-8 engines. We don't expect it to arrive before 2008.
