The very notion of a ‘Grand Edition’ Mercedes-Benz G500 is a little like a triple-fudge sundae.
The question begs, do you really need that much fudge?
In the case of the legendary G-Wagon, there is even the equivalent of a quadruple-fudge sundae the G55 AMG, a supercharged, fire-breathing SUV that boasts 469 horses and 506 lb-ft of torque.

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the unique and enduring Gelaendewagen, Mercedes produced late in the model year a Grand Edition model. Just a $2,400 option, the Grand Edition adds some nice cosmetic touches to the vehicle, though nothing of substantial note.
