We all know that Toyota is capable of almost anything, but will they devote the resources to build a great sports car?  You have to admit If you want a new performance car then a modern Toyota probably isn't on your list.

Lexus has shown us that with the recent release of the Lexus LF-A, they have the technology to produce an ultra high end machine, but what about the rest of us? 

Creating a $400,000 machine is one thing, but a sporty sub $30,000 car is another.  Toyota has said they need to breathe life into their lineup and a sporty performance car may be just the way to do it.

So question isn't really should Toyota build an affordable sport car.
