Honda routinely does what it calls a minor model change about halfway through a vehicle's life cycle, even if the model is selling well.

So the current-generation CR-V, launched as a 2007 model, gets a change for '10 — but not so minor, it seems.

Differences in the version that went on sale in September include engine, styling, interior and standard features.

Honda accountants probably had fierce arguments with the engineering-driven company over that.....
