According to Autocar, it appears that Audi is planning to produce just 1000 units of the e-Tron, each of them with a price tag above the R8 (did anyone expected to be cheaper..?? I don’t think so! ). “There are always people who want to be first to own new technology,” said Achim Badstubner, Audi’s head of exterior design. Although we think that the 1000 units of the e-Tron will sell in less than few hours, Audi says that it is plannig to produce the vehicles to order and that it would stop short if there is no demand for the car.
