As you may know already, the 2011 Bmw 740i/740Li was revealed back in December but made its North American debut today at the Detriot Auto Show. The German manufacturer announced the pricing for the new sedans, as it follows: both models will go on sale in the United States as 2011 models in Spring 2010 at a price of $71,025 for the 740i and $75,425 for the long wheelbase 740Li (prices Include $875 Destination and Handling charge). For those folks who don’t know, the new 7-Series carries a twin-turbocharged inline-6 engine that produces V8 power on six-cylinder fuel consumption.

The engine delivers an impressive 315 horsepower at 5800 rpm and 330 lb-ft of torque from 1600-4500 rpm and features, besides the all-aliminum construction, High Precision direct fuel injection and Double-VANOS variable camshaft technology.
